Deposits & fees

$500 damage deposit (fully refundable)

How to book


Fill out the form on this page. The earliest date you can choose is 7 days from today, this gives us enough time to prepare the space. We'll reach out to you to confirm the details and take payment, at which time we will confirm your booking. If you have any questions please contact us.

How to pay


A deposit of 50% of the venue rental fee is required upon booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due on the day of your event. Payment accepted by credit card or Interac e-transfer.

How early should you book?


We recommend booking at least 14 days in advance. Last-minute bookings may be possible — reach out and we’ll try to accommodate. Deposits on bookings made with less than 14 days’ notice are non-refundable.

Food, drink & catering


Outside food and drink are welcome. We also offer in-house catering — see our full menu on the Catering page.

Alcoholic beverages


Outside alcohol is accepted with the purchase of a liquor license ($50). Bringing your own wine or spirits? We charge a corkage fee ($50) that covers service, glassware, and cleanup. There is no corkage fee for single-serve bottled or canned drinks.

Indoor capacity is 30 people (seated or standing)

Cancellation policy


Cancel up to 14 days before your event for a full refund (minus the processing fee). Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations under 14 days.

      We’ve hosted engagements, birthday parties, Christmas parties, game nights, corporate meetups, and even surprise proposals in our cozy space. The Rosemount Cafe is perfect for intimate celebrations, small parties, casual gatherings, workshops, and more.

      What is the standing and seated capacity of your space?

      Our space is perfect for intimate events, accommodating up to 30 guests comfortably, whether seated or standing. The outdoor patio can also be used as additional overflow space if needed.

      Do you have parking on-site?

      You’ll find plenty of free parking right in front of the building and along the street, with a paid parking lot conveniently located next door.

      Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options for events?

      Yes, we offer gluten-free and vegan items from our regular menu as part of your private event catering. Let us know your guests’ dietary needs in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

      Is the service charge included in the private event space cost?

      No, the service charge is not included. A separate cleaning fee may apply, along with staffing fees and gratuities where applicable.

      How far in advance should I book my event?

      We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance to ensure availability of event space at our cafe and give us time to prepare. If you have a last-minute request, feel free to contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!
